When I hold a photograph of an apple in my hand, I have no expectation of taking a bite from the photo. Why would anyone expect that a recording would duplicate the live event? They are two entirely utterly different things altogether. So what you are telling us is that two entirely different things sound entirely different... That's original.

How much do you charge those who want to quantify it?

Unless you have something to share with us about vibration isolation, are you just here touting your measurement gear? How much is it worth to us to have you do measurements for us? To Quote you: "what would it be worth if you could accurately measure your system including USB etc cables. "

FMD WTF?

I agree. They are a high quality product. The curve and mirror finish is flawless.

Barry Diament might be the person you need to talk to about this. He has tried a few different materials for the cups.

I got my Ingress Engineering Level 3 7075 Rollerblocks two days ago. These things are extremely well made. The balls roll for ages. There is very little friction between the cup and the balls. I haven't fitted then yet but I am looking forward to seeing just what they contribute to the effect. Here's the link to the site: Ingress Engineered Products I would normally try to paste a image of these cup and ball devices but the supplied photo to the Ingress site is way too big to copy and paste here. When on the site right click and select view image whilst hovering over the photo.
