  2. Hi Role, I have found a lot of issues with a selection of WD MyPassport hard drivers from 1TB - 5TB. Issues range from incompatible USB controller with other computers or rpi or other devices for example routers which allow external hard drive sharing etc. I Have been having the same issue as you with Rpi and WD hard drive, it was taking a lot of time to update, it was randomly disconnecting etc. Once I changed to another drive type, all worked like a charm. From my experience, WD my passport drives (especially the new USB3) are brilliant if connected to a standard PC or Laptop with a lot of juice to drive it plus compatible USB controls. Also with my Microsoft Surface 3 pro, no WD my passport drives are being recognized and I have tried at least 3. I hope I didn't just confuse you with this. Cheers Mark
  3. Hi Tim, just a quick question around the expansion of SDCARD. I have tried several different cards, and when I click on this option, I have no idea whether the card is expanded or not as the button always reverts back to its original setting. Any ideas around this? Thanks and Regards Mark
  4. You are a legend Tim. Yes I knew about the info popup but wanted an actual command. Thank you so much! Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  5. Hi Tim, is there a way to run a command to see exact bitrate or any other stats, that the moode is sending via usb in realtime? Thanks and Regards Mark

  7. Michael where does Jriver come.into play if you don't mind me asking? I stream everything via moode feeding a usb into my dac. I can stream hires files wothout pops and clicks although I have built a linear power supply 5v and 3a. I have all my media on the nas and rpi is connected via ethernet cable to my nas. Better psu will make sense especially if you are streaming from a device that is usb attached. Mark Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  8. Hi Tim, All I can say this is amazing. Thank you, thank you!!! Finally a player that I can use with Raspberry pi that works, and it works flawlessly. It has taken me a bit of time to setup the NAS so that it works and then, took me a while to figure out how to output via usb to my AUDIO-GD USB / Coaxial / I2S converter, then into my Audio-GD 19 DAC with a PCM1704UK chip. It took a but of figuring but in the end I used the generic setting that worked fine. I then added the nas library, it took about 10 min to update and now all songs are there. Love the interface, love how you can tweak things, and really glad it works with Audio-GD products. Thanks once again , and this is an amazing gift to the audiophile community. Kind Regards mark
