My issue is I currently have a quality dac(Berkeley Alpha 1) and line-phono (Artemis LA1-Artemis PH1). I have been considering an integrated amp with dac and moving coil phono) or a preamp with dac and moving coil. The Accuphase E560 integrated amp option. I considered the Bryston preamp option but you can only get phono or dac --you can not get both. I gather there may be an option with some of the proaudio options but I am very very non technical so I have not been able to figure that out yet. I realize I will be losing sound quality and I am willing to do so for convenience at this point. Any suugestions or advice would be appreciated. I use very efficient speakers so the 30 watts per channel of the Accuphase is more than enough. thank you

Hello I have system consisting of a Mac mini, Ayre dac and OWC ext. hard drives. I currently use a 20 inch Dell lcd. I have pretty much completed ripping my cds so I would prefer a smaller footprint for the monitor. I will probably use an Itouch as a remote. Is there an lcd 8 to 10 inches that can be used with the mac mini? Are there any inexpensive options? I thought about touch screens but they appear to be more expensive. Any thoughts or suggestions? Chris, are you close to completion of the Ayre dac review? Also, has anyone directly compared the Brick vs the Ayre unit. I have the mac mini and owc mercury elite hard drives. I want to get up and going on the dac thanks Frank
