  1. Not sure how you've come to this conclusion. My Pioneer BDP-160 rips SACDs just fine.
  2. I downloaded the instructions linked in the first post of this thread and followed them precisely. As per the instructions, sacd_extract is run on a Windows PC using a cmd window.
  3. Kal, Agreed. I was simply correcting what I considered to be an incorrect statement. David is having problems with ISO2DSD so I suggested an alternative to try.
  4. That's not my experience. I rip from my Pioneer 160 using sacd_extract. I don't use ISO2DSD at all in the ripping process. My workflow is - sacd_extract to rip ISO sacd_extract to convert to DSF dBpoweramp to convert to FLAC
  5. Why don't you try sacd_extract instead of ISO2DSD. You never know !!??
  6. Same here ... after avoiding SACD for years I'm expecting a bunch for Xmas ! Cheers, Peter M
  7. FWIW my workflow is - sacd_extract to extract an ISO sacd_extract to convert to DSF dBpoweramp to convert to FLAC MP3Tag to tidy everything up
  8. Just took delivery of a BDP-160 and have ripped my first disc. The instructions were brilliant and everything worked flawlessly. A huge thank you to the guys who figured all this out !! Cheers, Peter M
