  1. Hi ferenc, could you share more details about the Evo supply? What's the rest of your system, what kind of improvements have you noticed? I'm considering the Evo supply as well, but pulling the trigger on this one is hard given that it costs the same as the Evo itself
  2. clay, async USB implementations existed _years_ before Gordon's products and all the buzz around async. E-MU USB DACs are dating from 2006 and they're async 24/192 (they need custom drivers though) - and E-MU never even advertised the fact.
  3. The hype around asychronous USB converters seems rather funny to me. In fact, such converters are not that rare and don't necessarily cost a fortune - Tascam US-144 ($149) is asynchronous, as well as the very popular E-Mu 0404 USB 2.0 ($199).<br /> <br /> It's true, that "driver-less" converters (the ones that use the built-in USB Audio drivers) are usually adaptive and require some hardware programming to work asynchronously, but in the pro-sector, where the manufacturer usually provides custom drivers, the asynchronous approach is more common.
