Guys has anyone compared the Melco switches with other switches? I just got the new N1-S38 server from Melco and now thinking to upgrade the switch.

Afterdarks new cable works like a charm… all sorted

So AfterDark has had amazing support they have sent me a new cable. at the moment I am using their stock cable but that also messed the network which is very puzzling. It was working before. Now Euphony will not go online unless I remove the dc cable from the EtherREGEN & clock. The I repower the clock first and then the EtherREGEN and it starts working no issues and then it stopped again after 20 to 25 minutes. I’m puzzled.

Well thank you. I am already using a A Farad super 3 on the Clock.

Alex I went back to the old cable and it works with out any issue at all….!

So I took the clock out and I am using the internal clock in the EtherREGEN and there are no issues at all. As soon as the clock is connected they start in a few minutes.

Hello, I have been using the Afterdark King Clock which has made a significant improvement in over SQ. Here is the issue I am facing - I upgraded the BNC cable from AFTERDARK - the BLACKRIVER and now the internet connection on the EtherREGEN is not stable any more. Even going back the stock BNC cable it’s the same… connects and disconnects…. Any guess? Everything has been restarted a few times

ah well I want to copy the music from the Melco for another server.... this is a pain then.... so no other solution?

Hello I have a Melco and I have about 3 TB of music on there. I have taken a back up of the same. How ever I want to copy my music to another hard disk and it will not let me do so cause of the art work file. IS there a work around. At the moment I need to go to each folder remove the art work file and then copy it which is a long painful process. All the music is mine that has been Ripped by the Melco Ripper. Thanks
