  1. I purchased, and downloaded the album from Acoustic Sounds. They advertise it as 24/96, but after downloading, it was actually 24/44.1.
  2. His album is on HDTracks. http://www.hdtracks.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=joey+alexander What a talent!
  3. I have one song in an album that is showing up in the library as it's own album.
  4. I did find a good solution with XLD. Thanks again. I'm sorry if I said something that got you guys into, what seemed, like an argument. I really have no idea what the argument was about, since you were WAY above my head through the whole thing.
  5. I found that XLD works in eliminating the skips, even though it's very slow. Thanks again for the those offering their help.
  6. I only have an Apple SuperDrive, but I'll try it with XLD. I'll also look at the CD's and case for the CDDA logo. Thanks to all for the assistance.
  7. I'm using a Mac. I see EAC is only available for the PC. Any suggestions for software to use on the Mac?
  8. The discs are new and in perfect condition. Playing songs directly from the CD are fine, no skips. The CD''s are the Brad Mehldau - Ten Years Solo set of 4 discs. If I can't get a good copy, I'll sell the CD's and see if I can find the set as digital downloads.
  9. Being new to this whole thing, I'm not familiar with EAC. Thanks, I'll check it out and give it a try. I've only used iTunes and Phile Audio.
  10. I received some CD's for Christmas and wanted to rip them to play on my digital devices. All ripped fine, except for one 4 CD set. All 4 have "skips" in the digital files. I tried ripping them with a different program and different format, but all 4 CD's still have the skips in the digital files. Any ideas why this is happening? It's the first time I've encountered this when ripping a CD. Was something done to in the recording process to cause the skips when ripped? Thanks.
  11. I liked Impromptu so much I bought it yesterday. Thanks. I found this Nils Frahm album today on YouTube. He's playing the world's largest piano. The bass notes are great. I ended up buying it on HDTracks. https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgnub8E04H7_XLzefWF_0KG-GORLbjvPX
  12. I've been enjoying Blue Coast Music recordings for about a year. I'm a fan of jazz trios, and have found this album by Aaron Diehl to be an excellent jazz recording. http://mackavenue.downloadsnow.net/bespoke
