Thanks Kal Yes the blue button indicates the output same as the source but just want to confirm weather my DAC is getting whatever frequency it is showing in the blue button.

I am using J River to play HR albums (Windows based) through a USB driver. JR audio output shows sampling rate as 24 bit and whatever the sampling frequency up to 192 but since my DAC do not have display of sampling frequency coming in I am not sure whether the DAC is receiving the sampling the rate which JR is showing. Could anyone help me through the set up in J River or windows set up how to confirm this. I would appreciate a step by step set up prob with screen shots. thanks in advance.

I use J River to play back HR music but my DAC does not have any display to show either the bit or sampling rate. Is there any software which i can use to confirm the sampling and bit rate. I have seen several screen shots on this forum displaying the peak and DR data...but not sure where I can get it from...any help will be appreciated. I listen to music but not very good when it comes to computers and using jargon.
