  1. Of course I've tried that feature... several times! Checked the box to 'select all' and ran it, but it never works!!
  2. Well, I am am Mac user and have been for fifteen years (that's why I got Audirvana btw) - and I don't see why I should apologize for that or why I should burden myself with the ridiculuos amount of work of sorting my whole library (tenthousands of files!!) anew. I really wish Audirvana would incorporate iTunes' (may it be non-standard) way of labeling its music files instead of expecting all its costumers who have been using iTunes for years to redo most of their work! As long as Audirvana doesn't help with this problem, I won't be completely pleased with it. I sure hope it will though at some point.
  3. 1) I have the same problem with the A+remote app. Gotta close the app and start it again, sometimes several times until it manages to connect with Audirvana. 2) There's (at least) one album I bought on iTunes that I can see in Audirvana but none of its tracks can be played on Audirvana. 3) Audirvana sometimes also crashes when I'm writing something in the search field. 4) Some albums' tracks are listed double in Audirvana while in iTunes they're correctly shown only once. 5) I have one playlist with many titles, 8.305 exactly, but in Audirvana this playlist doesn't show any titles at all. 6) And it's still bothering me that for many, many albums in my collection there's no cover in Audirvana, even though in iTunes the cover is shown correctly - obviously that's because Audirvana uses metadata in a different way than iTunes does, but I really wish Audirvana would adapt this. I'm starting to consider using Audirvana in it's iTunes mode, but as that would compromise the wonderful sound quality of Audirvana I expect I wouldn't be pleased. Really hope Audirvana's gonna get better with all these issues!
  4. So I got myself kid3 and checked - even though for those files you can see the artwork in the Finder, according to kid3 it's not in the file. I haven't figured out which Doug script I would need and how to use it. Have never worked with any script before, sorry not a pro here. Which script would check all my files, take the cover from iTunes and put it into the file? But most importantly, when Audirvana tells me after any iTunes sync that there are all those albums with covers in iTunes but not in Audirvana and offers to include those covers - and I click 'select all' and 'ok' - why doesn't Audirvana does what it promises?
  5. Thanks for the response, Damien! I realized that function when I synced Audirvana's library with iTunes for the first time - and of course I've tried it out, actually every time I synced it, and I do that regularly. Sadly it didn't have any effect. There was a blue bar in Audirvana showing progress quite quickly, about a few seconds, but afterwards all those album covers always are still missing. I also tried only to select like three albums at a time, but even that didn't work
  6. Well, I have always worked my art work into iTunes by dragging the jpgs to the info field of the tracks and if I look at the files in the Finder they'll also show the cover art. Still, in Audirvana several of these albums do NOT show any cover art and so far it seems if I wanted it there as well I'd have to manually drag the cover art into Audirvana for all of those. And as I have 3.800 albums in iTunes I really don't wanna go through them like this. I wish Audirvana would just properly show the covers that are embedded in the metadata properly. Seems to me it does NOT
  7. Sounds good - where do I find 'doug's scripts'?
  8. Thanks for the response! Well, I'd like to try that. But I tried iTunes' function 'automatically search for cover art' a while ago and I ended up with wrong cover art for some of my albums. So now as my library is very extensive I don't want to risk any programme exchanging the correct cover art that is embedded in most of my files with probably wrong stuff from the internet... Where woiuld metadatics take the cover art from? Btw, one of my playlists (which contains more than 7.500 tracks) is never synced with Audirvana - it's there in Audirvana, but it's empty. Is Audirvana not capable of syncing playlists with more than so-and-so tracks?
  9. Hey, I was told to try here... could someone help me please? I've sorted all my (half a GB) music in iTunes, now installed Audirvana and am very much considering buying it due to its amazing sound, only I'd like to solve my syncing issues first: I've done a folders sync as recommended and right after did an iTunes sync (with iTunes being switched off), several times already, and always when the syncing is finished Audirvana tells me that some files have artwork in iTunes but not in Audirvana and asks me if I want to include that artwork in the meta data of the files. I always 'select all' and hit 'yes' but it never has an effect - in Audirvana those albums still don't have a cover. I consider it way too much work to manually drop a cover on all these albums... what can I do? Please help!
  10. Thanks for replying!! Oh boy, well, dragging and dropping for a considerable part of the library then? I'd really rather not. It's a shame that Audirvana sees the problem, offers a solution, and then doesn't deliver it. Hm, maybe I'll just wait for until they fix this until I actually buy it. Thanks!
