  1. I think I will give a chance to one of those Audio-GD. I am curious to see which sound they produce. But I hesitate as most of my listening are streamed through an ATV, when I am at home. Sometimes I am asking myself wether it would be more convenient, in term of quality, to bypass this device and minimize the sound path. When I am at work, my computer is located next to a Rega Pre-amp and amplifier — I am lucky enough to work in a musical environment all day... So I would probably bought first a normal Dac. In the future a streamer for home listening and the Dac will be moved in my work environment.
  2. Thanks for your feedback. I need another advice to get oriented in the DAC jungle.... Audio-GD NFB-3 (feed by an Apple TV or through USB) ; Audio-GD NFB-15 ; Pioneer N-50 : which one would you recommend?
  3. Thanks for the replies. I have B&W DM602. This small micro - iDAC2 seems really interesting. I like the idea to have pieces of hardware that will be "small & confidential" brands. But I absolutely need to have both an optical input for my ATV running Plex and Airplay and an USB input for more audiophile listening. The ARCAM irDAC or the Musical Fidelity V90 could be the deal. Do you know more confidential brands & models with similar specifications?
  4. Hi, I would like to get rid of my old home set up, which is a Denon PMA360 ; connected to an Edirol FA-66 ; feed either by a Macbook or an ATV2. My budget is tight (around 1000$) and I want to buy a new Amplifier and a Dac. — I started to focus on the Yamaha A-S701, as it as an integrated DAC and it seems interested as an all in one system. But the lack of asynchronous USB make me feel not comfortable with it. And the A-S801 isn't available in Europa. — Then I look at the NAD356BEE Dac. The amplifier seems nice, but I am not sure his Dac is a good option. — I would be more tempted by another alternative. I have the opportunity to get a NAD325BEE for around 200$. I find out it would interesting to connect it with a Peachtree Dac Itx, a DacMagic Plus, or something similar. Which of this 3 options seems the more accurate?
