  1. Do you have any recommendations for cables? I would have to use a 3.5mm to RCA right? I don't think the Soundblaster Z has RCA inputs.
  2. Well, i've tried the schiit modi and feel that it makes my ears hurt after a while of listening. Is there anything that would be less fatiguing?
  3. Hi, I currently have a Sound Blaster Z and Audioengine A5+. I don't really care for the gaming/post processing crap this card has and would like a nice DAC (Not too expensive though). My problem is that most of the DACs (ODac, Schiit, Audioengine D1) are too bright for me. I would prefer a bit of a warmer dac with some bass. I have been looking at the HiFiMe Asynchronous ES9018 HiFime 9018 Asynchronous High resolution USB DAC ... My questions are: The HiFiMe has an SNR 112, while the SBZ has a SNR of 116. Does this really mean anything? Which DAC is better in terms of clarity? Will I notice a difference between these two? (I feel the sound could be a little bit more clear on these speakers) Would this DAC be appropriate for desktop stereo speakers (I use an 3.5mm to connect the speakers, no toslink, etc..) What do you guys think of the HiFimeDIY UX1 Sabre USB DAC+SPDIF/USB converter with ES9023? Thank you for the help in advance I apologize if it is hard to read, or my severe ignorance in the audiophile department. This seems like the right place to ask for help. FYI.. I want a dac for a Stereo Speakers system. I don't need it for headphones or anything. I welcome recommendations for a good dac too. ty. Budget ~150
