I totally agree with you! they made a smarter decision and I think they just lack of power to do a proper marketing.. that is just my IMHO.

Wish I have a chance to compare the Linux version of sMS-1000SQ which is the original one and the Windows Edition, if anyone can describe the differences or just impression as David described, it will be really good for me and others too. Personally I am not very much like a geek person, so I'd prefer to go with the Windows edition rather than using the Linux version.

I think they are talking about the SOtM DAC, sDP-1000EX, it says the sDP-1000EX is supportive for 32bit/384KHz PCM, DSDx64, DSDx128 on their website correctly.

oh. I understood, I went back to your answer and read it again and got you are running separate LPSU.. understood.. I mostly use SOtM stuff they are very good and cost effective on any aspect.. anyway their power supply fit very well in my system but I will need another psu since that can't cover all my system at all..
