I am looking for a way to convert a 7.1 analog signal to a hdmi 7.1 Lpcm digital signal in "real time" There seems to be many boxes that does the opposite. But none does what I want. It seems like a computer might be the only way. Is there a usb device that takes in 7.1 analog and then allows a notebook to send it via hdmi in 7.1 Lpcm? Am I looking at a combination of software and hardware?
