  1. Given that you have used multiple USB cables. it's probably something to do with the signal from the Mac, or the MAc USB out is broken. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about Mac's.
  2. Do you see a bunch of dashes on the display of the Gustard? If not, the unit hasn't been plugged in properly. Make sure to push the IEC in properly, as it is pretty tight. If you do, then it means that the unit is plugged in, but is not getting a signal from the MAC. If you see nymbers, like 44.1, then the Gustard is seeing the signal and there is something wrong between the Gustard and the DAC.
  3. I have one album of his. Also, "Rodeo Boy" is on my Drunk Playlist
  4. I have a massive Squeezebox death match coming up myself. With a Touch, Transporter with all their various outputs plus two USB reclockers, each with a couple of outputs; two DAC's with a bunch of different inputs. I'm just trying to clear out some excess equipment. To be honest, they all sound pretty good. Even my Slimp3 sounds pretty good through its RCA outs. I've drawn a chart to help me out
  5. Why not just try it? +Another vote for the Blue Jeans Cables
  6. Like Man in a Van said; the Gustard U12. Be careful with other devices, as Gustard has their own "standard" i.e. HDMI pinouts, so they will not work with other manufacturers products.
