  1. Thank you for your answer. I am using Tidal, Spotify and Netflix. I have Audirvana as well but after the convenience of streaming, I almost stopped using it.
  2. My set up is: Mac Mini connected to 2qute through USB to my amplifier. Before this, I didn't have a dac and I was connecting mac mini directly to my amplifier and control the volume through my keyboard. After installing the 2qute, I cannot control the volume through my keyboard. Is there a solution for this? Thanks in advance.
  3. Sure. I will spend my weekend with Rotel 1550 which I borrowed from a friend. My Cambridge Audio Topaz SR20's internal DAC and Gungnir Loan unit. I will be able to connect Rotel and Gungnir to my new Yamaha AS2100 and I have two sets of speakers PRoac118 and Tannoy DC6 and, see, if I can have an enjoyable difference. I will be listening mostly, Tidal, Spotify and Netflix through my Mac Mini and occasional PS4 games. I am not very technical or have a very sensitive ear, also my living room has an odd L shape. Nothing is ideal for music, cons of living in Singapore. But I will write my experience. I've checked for Gustard but couldn't find a place that I can demo it. Marantz looks interesting and I will try to audition it as well. Thanks Ceyhun
  4. Thank you for the recommendations. I am looking for a Mytek to try. Today I brought home the Schiit Gungnir and try it for 1 day and see. Teac 503 looks compelling as well. Will try it too.
  5. Hi all, Still new to digital music. I have a Mac Mini 2014 with Audirvana. Most of the music I listen are through Audirvana and Spotify and would like to try Tidal as well. I have just invested in Yamaha as 2100 Amplifier, which is completely analogue. (Very happy with it) My speakers are Proac 118. I would like to invest in a DAC less than 1000 USD. I do not have any DSD files and my main purpose is to listen my downloaded music through audirvana, Spotify and Netflix, etc. Within this setup and price range, can you recommend me a few brands that I should audition? Thanks Ceyhun
  6. Thank you very much. Invested in Audirvana and it works perfectly! New in computer audio, a lot to learn. Cheers Maybeex
  7. Hi everyone, I have a mac mini 2014 with El Capitan os. I have bought a musical fidelity v link 192 and connected it to my Ca topaz sr 20. And it is connected to ms aviano 6 speakers. I use high fidelity cables. I use vox and i tunes on mac mini. After connecting v link, whatever source I use on mac, youtube, Itunes or Vox v link only shows red light and everything looks 192 khz. I set the output to v link 192 already, v link locks I have green light but when I play any file it only shows red light which indicates 192 khz. I have sound on the speakers so connections should be ok and it is usb to analogue, pretty simple. Is there anybody out that can help me? I am not a native english speaker. Sorry about the grammar and thanks. Maybeex
