  1. Hi OE333, Ive downloaded all the files you mentioned but still having trouble with integrating them into my remote(s). I have a new Remote Two (by Unfolded Circle), but thought I would get them into my day to day remote first (Logitech Elite), but still having issues. The only codes Ive managed to get working are Volume UP and DOWN - they slightly overshoot (although you have explained why that is) but they function enough for me to work with. The codes I really need would be discrete POWER ON, discrete POWER OFF, discrete USB input and discrete SPDIF 1 (COAX) - the last two if at all possible. Ive been having some success with POWER ON but additional press just puts the unit into MUTE, so ideally would prefer DISCRETE POWER CODES for ON and OFF (my new remote doesnt yet support LONG PRESS commands) I would be very appreciative if you were able to copy/paste the exact codes that you know work with the DAC200 from the T+A pdf list so at least I can focus on getting those specifc to work, rather than spending time with codes that seem to take my down a different rabbit hole! Thanking you in advance!
  2. So, utilising Roon to do all upsampling to, say, DSD256 (for stability), are there any preferred settings that yield the best results? I understand there are those who will say HQPlayer is the way to go - not for me at this stage, but if there is ideal upsampling settings in Roon that get me some of the way there, I'm prepared to try!
  3. Many thanks @OE333 for all your help - I will go through your suggestions and report back! Completely unrelated question, but about the 200 series as a whole - are the isolation feet on the underside of the units simply unscrewable? I know they twist with a gentle nudge and I have some other isolation footers I would like to try in their place, but I know sometimes with footers on equipment unscrewing them sometimes means a nut or washer comes undone inside the cabinet which I dont want to happen. Just thought I would check before proceeding...cheers! Mark
  4. Hey @OE333 Ive been trying codes on the PDF you linked to but of all the codes Ive tried so far, only a POWER/TOGGLE command seems to work (for me). I also tried learning the non-discrete codes from the DAC200's remote but am having difficulty getting both my Logitech Harmony Elite and my new Unfolded Circle Remote Two to learn and recognize the commands. Any ideas? Is the FM200 remote a hybrid of some kind? Probably the most required codes I need would be discrete POWER ON, discrete POWER OFF, discrete USB input and discrete SPDIF 1 (COAX).
  5. Would anybody have a complete set of remote codes for the 200 series? Some of the buttons toggle through different inputs and ideally to keep the system as family friendly as possible I would like to set up macros that use discrete codes.
  6. Can this file be uploaded to the DAC200 through the MP200 or do you need the official/DIY cable for this one?
  7. Its been confirmed many times that the volume control is purely analogue, so no concerns there. Regarding preamp status, I would consider this "state of the art" relative to its price point. I have just committed to a 200 stack and will be using the DAC200 an an analogue preamp for my TT/phono pre combination (having moved from dedicated Hegel H590). Perhaps the only way to convince yourself is to do the A/B comparison, but that of course would infer a repair of the Plinius.
  8. Ordered a DAC200 and a pair of M200 monos this week (moving from a wonderful Hegel H590). Looking forward to receiving my new toys in a few weeks!!
  9. @The Computer Audiophile - how many scans of the room in Matterport did you do and did you just use the iPad camera? I did four and still looked rough compared to yours.
  10. You guys who received the email regarding your top music for the year should be happy - I never received such an email...🙄
  11. Congrats @Cazzesman I saw that post by Sonic Purity on SNA, alas I don’t have the cash to jump in myself just yet! Anything you feed into the AES on the speakers direct is still controlled by the Kii Control, including all settings.
