    That's the way I use the pi : no ethernet but wifi. Minimserver converting flac to wave on the fly and running on a syno. Never tried Bug Head Emperor.

    I use a pi2 connected via i2s to the dac. It's really good for the price. But I can't say that it sounds better than a dual PC setup using JPLAY in Ultrastream mode with the hibernate option on.[emoji4]
