  1. Dear All, the issue "....pid.txt..." about the Fidelizer Pro shell has been fixed in the last release, 7.8 , of Fidelizer. All works very fine now and WIN10 running in a dedicated shell mode improves the performaces. Take care the user EVERYONE has the complete permission on the c:\windows\temp folder Many, many thans to Phil and Keetakawee Mario
  2. Many thanks! Will do it. Mario
  3. Hi, many thanks for your prompt replies, in particular to Phil that suggested a possible solution. Now I have wrote the following batch file: @echo off Title Launching JRiver+AcourateConvolver... cls start /HIGH "JRiver" "C:\Program Files (x86)\J River\Media Center 22\Media Center 22.exe" start /HIGH "AcourateConvolver" "C:\Program Files\AudioVero\AcourateConvolver\AcourateConvolver.exe" exit bur instead to create a new shell I have asked to Fidelizer Pro to run the batch and by Service Tool I have choosen Fidelizer as new shell. After the restart Win10 has changed the shell and there are two windows, one for JRiver and one for Acourate. The functionality is perfect but..... At the beginning when Fidelizer Pro runs there is an error indication: "the file c:\windows\temp\pid.txt could not be opened....." and it remains as long as I manually remove the popup. It seems do not affect the functionality and performance. After a little search I have found in this forum an indication of WindowsX about this error. The indication ask to put to 0 two variables - ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin” and “EnableLUA” - in the Register in order to disable the UAC check. I found those varialbles already to 0. Any suggestion? Do I have done the right choose in the shell replacement or it's better to create a new one? Many thanks Mario @phil after the Creators Update installation the Windows Processes running are 62 insted 24 experienced in the Win 10 1607 release. Does it mean something?
  4. Dear All, I'm very sorry but I need some help about the Shell Replacement configuration. My player, JRiver, runs on a miniITX MB PC under Windows 10 Creators Update. JRiver uses a library placed on my NAS and plays the files by an ASIO driver to Acourate Convolver performing the Digital Room Correction, after that all the data are sent to the external DAC through an USB port. Under W10 run AO 2.20b5 and Fidelizer Pro. I am very happy of the performance after the Ultimate Setting of AO and the Purist/Network Player configuration of Fidelizer. Now I would like to try the Shell Replacement tool but it is difficult to me choose the right one. JRiver? Fidelizer? Does Acourate Convolver run anyway? Many thanks for the help. Mario
