Since about 4 years, I am an active reader on this side. Started with Cyrus Cd8Se and/or Mac Mini w/MF V90 DAC as my two frontend units and decent loudspeakers (Kef Q900). Over time - due to the discussions - I bought and played with the Regen, power chords, USB cable, Aries, SBooster, new Dac,....., and step by step the sound between the loudspeakers, which was harsh and appeared to come out of a small tunnel between them, turns into a wider soundstage were piano, drums, cymbals sounds more and more realistic (besides I learned how to listen)
Now to the topic: With Roon and the Aries FW 3.3 (+Chord 2qute) I was 'quite’ happy with my system. However, the Beta4.04 is another big (note: I am careful using such words) step forward. As mentioned earlier, the sound - to my ears and my wife's ;-) - is more realistic (I love this little bit brighter) , the instruments are much more 3D now, and I have the feeling I hear more of the recording venue atmosphere. Now it is very enjoyable with Jazz, Voice, and Chamber Music
The only - very small - disadvantage is, that I can not use anymore Roon to get this effect. I am impressed what Auralic has achieved...and I am very thankful to all here who made comments at Computeraudiophile to enable this journey.

P.S. The frontend seems to be excellent now and I now can look to the speakers.
