  1. Hello, Thank you for many answers and explanations. For the AuI software is just way too expensive for a "simple" converter. I wrote to the dev of foobar plugin, maybe he can come up with the solution, if not, well, no matter too. Either live with it or leave the format...
  2. Hello, I'd like to join the conversation about the clicks between tracks. It seems that when I convert a 6-channel SACD to DSF and then to FLAC with the Foobar or dbPoweramp, I get clicks at the track-beginning. It is, when viewed in Audacity, basically a single sample. I can hear it when playing the ISO or DFF/DSF files in Foobar and I can hear it when converted to FLAC. However, a newest discovery, is that when converted in AuI, there was no click. Source-File is DFF, converted by the latest Sonore GUI. I'm currently, and that in the last 3 days, in a process of trying to find out what's going on, but couple of SACD ISOs I converted recently, all show the same error. They were first converted to DFF by Sonore GUI, then loaded into Foobar which has a latest SACD plugin installed too. Settings in Foobar are simple: PCM, 88kHz, Multichannel, Multistage Floating-Point. I also tried to convert directly by loading the ISO in Foobar, same result with clicks. First I thought it was the DSF bug (this is why I used DFF in the 2nd go), but that was not it. Does anyone know what could be causing these clicks? I am very anxious to find out, as I would like to eliminate the problem generally. This is how it looks in Audacity:
