I upgraded to embedded version 5.5.2-15amd and noticed a recess in soundstage compared to the previous version. I will further test over the weekend. My filter settings are Sinc L and medium. I hope the emphasis on the control interface doesn't compromise SQ, which is essentially what HQP is all about!

Great advice on DAC variants implementation, but it seems a bit off-topic. Let's shift our focus back to HQPlayer.

It am using the Accuphase DC-1000 DAC.

Wow, I just had the chance to upgrade HQP 5.50 and NAA OS to 5.00 and I am blown away by the sound quality! The clarity, resolution, and presence of the soundstage are simply amazing. I even noticed a higher loading on the server - from 44.1k to DSD256 - but unfortunately, I experienced some occasional pauses or stuttering with Sine L. This never happened with the previous version, 5.41 and NAA OS 4.61, but regardless, I am absolutely loving what I am hearing. Thank you so much, Jussi, for continuing to improve this incredible technology!👍👍👍

Have you updated the firmware to 2.0? Check on the JCat forum for more info. If you are on the latest firmware, have you tried on another mainboard to troubleshoot?

I used JCat USB XE and JCat Network card, all seems working fine in my NAA OS setup.

Hey Jussi, could you help me with that? How or what I need to do? -

Thanks Guys. I am having trouble booting the new NAA OS 4.60. The previous version 4.50 booted successfully. However, I believe that the new 4.6 should boot. Once it is booted up, we can reconfigure the network settings to have one operational network port. -

It should complete the boot. Previously, both ports were connected and it worked fine. -

Thanks Stefan, I disabled the on-board LAN port and used a JCat Network card. -

Hi, I have upgraded the NAA OS to version 5.60. However, I am having a hard time getting it to work properly. It keeps getting stuck during the network configuration process. I didn't have any issues with the previous version 4.50, it worked fine. I appreciate your troubleshooting advice. Thank you very much. -

Apologise for the delay. Many thanks to Rovo - I am happy to share that his instructions worked flawlessly. Big thank you to you Rovo. I had it’s working with the latest NAA OS 4.50 currently. -
Thanks guys. I lower the speed from 6000Mhz 1.35v to the second option (5600Mhz 1.35v), which works—playing over the last hour without issue. Happy days. 👌

So I pick up the 2 DDR5 sticks today and exactly what pis99 said. With 4 sticks of the identical DDR5, HQP OS 5.03 became unstable and freeze. I tried with 3 sticks, it shares the same issue. @Miska Can you please help? The screen shows this when HQP OS became frozen.

One last question @pis99. Was the experience on HQp 5 or 4? I asked because I reached out to Jussi before committing. He said 4 will improve performance unless my interpretation is incorrect.
