Thanks a lot!!! Thanks for your answer. Now I am facing a new problem. After installing HQPlayer in Linux Mint, it will refuse to accept my xml key file (generated and working under Windows 10). What can I do??? EDIT: I answer myself. Didn't know theres a different purchase for Linux, xDDD

Eastern Minimax Supreme. Its able to play dsd native under Windows 10 with your program and others like Jriver. As the genuine drivers haven't been updated since release date, I had to mod the M2Tech 3.34 xmos version to accept my Supreme, and these drivers are able to play dsd native. The genuine ones from Eastern allow only DOP. So, how could I set my Linux Mint up to permit dsd native via HQPlayer???

Hi Miska, thanks for your support. I am trying to install it on Linux Mint 18.3 based in Ubuntu 16.04. So where can I obtain the 3.24??? Do I need to use the sudo dpkg -i command??? Once installed, is it able to play dsd native??? If not, what should I do to make it work under Linux Mint 18.3???

Hi Miska. I purchases HQPlayer a while ago and amd trying to install it on Linux Mint 18.3 KDE, but it won't because of some dependencies using the OS own installers. Any tips??? Thanks in advance.
  7. Are you posting here or in another thread??? Thanks again...
  8. Hi. I am interested in the comparison between the new iusb3.0 and the former iusb, as I have the iusb+purifier+gemini pack and would like to know if there is any gain with iusb3.0... Thanks in advance.

Hi again, mates. I am trying the Eastern Supreme, thanks to Heinz Posingis from Germany, Audiotubes.de owner, who kindly sent it to me with Burson Singles and Duals. Have it now with Sparko singles and Burson Duals, waiting for Sparko Duals which seem to come in a donkey. I am angry with Andrew Sparko, cos he publishes he uses UPS Worlwide saver for duals, and shipped by USPS Priority Mail, so 10 days more waiting more or less... I wrote to him and didn't anwer yet about it. The Supreme is over Junior in terms of depth, a real bargain for the price. The Junior is also a bargain, very good DAC's, which can be tuned with opamps to achieve the sound you are looking for to match your system!!! Besides, HQPlayer improves the pack, a real kickass team...

Hi again, mate, thanks for your reply... Will remain with my junior then. Gonna put again Dexa's to compare exhaustively... In short, there will be a new machine in the market, the IFI IUsb power 3.0, so probably wait for it and decide after reading impressions. Meanwhile, my iusb, ipurifier and gemini do the trick. Regards from Spain. EDIT: when you say Dexas are superior in your opinion, are you referring to original Dexas or the new special edition??? I got the original, haven't tried the new ones.

Miska, I have experimented slowness in playback after starting other media player like Foobar or Jriver at the same time HQPlayer is opened. After closing them, HQ plays files very slowly, as if I had chosen 0,5x speed or less, needing a restart.

Upload a screenshot with your hqplayer settings, and dac1 control panel, please... As Miska said, which cpu are you using??? The pops, clicks, stuttering... are very often and have multiple causes... Sometimes is a bad configuration, especially with asio, others a hardware fault. Could be usb connection too, when ground loop appears... Finally could be the own hqplayer version, especially when you had no trouble with a previous one...

The official page for your DAC publishes a 10/10/2014 usb driver (click on downloads): Marantz ES | HD-DAC1 Try it. Have you checked the settings in HQPlayer, including the bit depth??? Try forcing 24 bit, the máximum for your device according to data sheet, instead of default or whatever you have selected...
