  1. Hi like @mjb concluded, if you buy a professional cable that can clearly show that the bnc plugs can carrie 75 Ohms then you will have less reflections and withstand 75ohm resistance . to be sure buy Canare 4k bnc , Belden , Van Damme , Oyaide , apogee , that is used in professional studios and tested. if you for instance buy a ultra high end MIT oracle MA-X cable that i use, then you can alter the resistance in the cable with the switch knob on the cable, to tweak the square wave slightly to your own satisfaction. do not use or buy the standard supplied cheap or free BNC black cables that is made in china for 1 cent, then you will end up with more reflections and a weird sound from testing. also do not use shorter cables than 1.5 meter bnc for the best result. less reflections makes the sound calmer and more gentle in the micro details and spectra.
  2. you most have a source with a Word.clk input because you can go with the internal clock mode on your MC-3+ or what streamer / source / Dac are you using?
  3. how can you make the Internal send out sound when you do not have an source with word.clk input , i can not get any sound from that setting, just the Reclocking setting and set the Reference to SPDIF in otherwise it is dead with the internal setting and SPDIF in as Reference.
  4. So i do not think i get the full potential of the fine internal clock of the MC3+ because of the Auralic Aries does not have Word.clock input. i read in the manual that if the audio source does not have a Word.clock input, you can use a T - BNC adapter to get benefit of word.clock synchronisation between all units in the setup and use the Internal Clock in the Mutec. have i miss read this or do these product need a Word.clock I/O interface?
  5. I can't make it to sound using internal clock setting in MC3+ because it is using SPDIF in as Reference clock signal i think. can you guys connect like i have on the picture and use the internal master clock mode instead of Re-Clock mode in the MC-3+ and do youbthink Internal mode is superior to Re-Clock l. i am a little clued about that the MC-3+ using the SPDIF w.clk signal and use this as Reference, but mmi hope the re-clocking take care if this higher incoming jitter signal from the Auralic Aries Femto
  6. Can anyone confirm if this is the correct way to connect , or do i get high gitter this way? From the Streamer ( Auralic Aries without any W.clk input) i am using SPDIF to Mutec MC-3+ to SPDIF input and then SPDIF out + W.Clk out from MC-3+ to my dCS Paganini DAC with spdif input and word.clock input. I am using Re-Clocking mode on the MC-3+ that is the only way of getting sound and lock. I am using SPDIF as Reference See attached picture and please confirm if this is the best way of loweribg the gitter level for best SQ or should i skip the Word.clock cable? looking forward for your answers
  7. A good setup you have! if the Esoteric clock can send out two clock signals simultaneously from the same Word.sync bnc output it will work , other words you have to change the clock output word signal on the Esoteric Master Clock for the DAC to sync. you can visit dCS Forum here for more interesting reading: https://dcs.community best regards
  8. Yes you can gain slight benefit on connecting the Word.clk out on the NWB to the Debussy because the NWB's two clocks is newer and slight better than the Debussy's clock
  9. Now the search function works as intended for Tidal in the Mosaic app 👍👍
  10. Yes bitrate is a smart floating stream that can variate depending on the quality, and if there is less or more information in the audio / video content, but what i had in mind was if you listen to a Flac file from Deezer it displays 16 bit 44.1 and the same if it is a 320kbits file also so you can't see if it is a native lossless or compressed lossy version. And here is the answer from Andrew dCS about the search issue in Tidal: There is an intermittent issue with the provider we use to aggregate the search and browse interface from the various streaming services. They are working on correcting it.
  11. The new Mosaic App is very fast to and much more stable than the old dCS Streaming App! Now you got Tidal , Qubuz , Deezer , Internet Radio , UPNP , USB and Spotify as clients. @AMP One thing that needs to be fixed is that you need to be able to search for new songs in Tidal, you can just find like 1 of 10 artist if you try do a search in Tidal. Deezer search works fine. Then if you could see like the bitrate would be great like in the old app.
  12. New dCS Mosaic controlling App for all existing streaming products and a new dCS Mosaic Processor is announced today at Munich High End event: The app should be able to download from today, but i can’t find it yet. https://community.roonlabs.com/t/announcing-dcs-mosaic/69513
  13. This is just information for dCS. But to the rest who is asking why i am eager to sort out the bugs is because of the following: I i am using Roon also, but if a function like Airplay is implemented i think it should also work. I got some friends who just want to play a track through Airplay or sometimes i like to link my Apple TV 4k if i am watching a movie or a concert to the NB through Airplay for example, but it becomes very frustrating when Airplay does not work as it should.
  14. @AMP just for your information the AirPlay function still stop playing for 1-2 seconds every 30-40 seconds, so the same bug is still there. Hope you can look into it and sort it out in tve next SW/FW release.
  15. Yes its only gapless playback you will find bettered from the last update 👍
