  1. I live in a condo. I'd have to check what it would take to run an ethernet cable through the walls. Or I may just try an ultraRendu anyway even though wifi is involved in the path.
  2. Thanks. For me, top sound quality is the priority but I may be stuck with a convenience issue. I'm currently using a Bluesound Node 2. I've been considering trying an ultraRendu. My cable modem is in a different room than my primary system. Due to WAF issues, I can't run a long ethernet cable from one room to the other.
  3. @barrows What about a solution involving 2 mesh wifi routers (Linksys Velop). One Velop connected via ethernet cable to the cable modem. The other Velop is not connected directly to the cable modem but can be connected via ethernet cable to an ethernet renderer (e.g., ultraRendu) and then to a USB DAC. Would there be much compromise since wifi is still involved?
