  1. I'm giving up on AS. Not only the whole MusicBrainz fiasco and all the GUI bugs, now I'm having playback issues too. Some tracks refuse to play past specific positions. Playback stops and the DAC (Pre Box S2 Digital) is unusable until it's been restarted. Same tracks are playing just fine using 3.5.
  2. If I use the "Power of Two" (r8brain) or "Device maximum frequency" (both SoX and r8brain) upsampling settings, all 24/96 tracks become just loud, distorted noise. 16/44 upsamples fine. Anyone else? Also, using SoX upsampling it cuts the last seconds of (some?) tracks. Just like Audirvana 3.5.
  3. Yes, I know that. I just don't like that AS displays metadata that I have not asked for. But as the tagging seem to correct itself after reloading of the view, I tend to think it's a bug.
  4. The new MusicBrainz functionality is also very glitchy. Suddenly AS shows metadata on my tracks that I have not asked for. See artist here, this is not how I have tagged them: But then with some reloading of the view and opening the folder in Finder, all tracks are suddenly displayed again how I tagged them: I don't want AS to override my own tagging. But maybe that's just a bug.
  5. I have my whole library backed up to a cloud service. If every file is modified now everything is going to to be backed up again. Oh the joy.
  6. Maybe of interest to someone. These are domains that Audirvana Studio has been talking to since I installed the application this morning (compare old Audirvana above): Also, an opt-out or pause of the audio analysis would have been nice. This has been the state of my computer all day:
  7. I have no idea, sorry. Thanks to Audirvana's support for AppleScript, we can fetch the now playing data from the application (just like with iTunes/Apple Music) and use it in a script. I don't know if Amazon HD has anything similar.
  8. If anyone is interested in Last.fm scrobble support for Audirvana, I've created a simple script (Mac) for this. Just keep the script running while using Audirvana. https://github.com/sprtm/audirvana-scrobbler Note, it does require some experience with the Terminal and scripting.
  9. @damien78 Please give us an option to hide the mini album browser. Please also remove the tag editor bar to the right (the tag button can be moved up next to the settings button). And please implement an option to decrease the space around text/columns (maybe a small/medium/large option). I have nothing against the new "Spotification" of the GUI, but everything takes too much space. A 24" monitor feels insufficient, I can just imagine how it is on a 13" MacBook screen. Merci!
  10. That has unfortunately been the case for a long time. New versions/functions are rushed out before being thoroughly tested.
  11. What if you first click an album, then hit the back button; can you then see the zoom commands in the menu? That works for me. Seems like a bug...
  12. Release 3.5.3 • Sort streaming artist albums by decreasing release date • Playlists export relative path option disabled by default • Fix UPnP playback to PCM only network players • Fix some Audio Units not appearing
  13. That has been requested for years... A workaround if you use A+ with a UPnP renderer: install a MPD scrobbler on the MPD device. I've installed mpd-scrobble (https://github.com/hawx/mpd-scrobbler) on my Volumio RPi and everything A+ plays now scrobble to last.fm. (I can't get Volumio's own last.fm plugin to work for some reason. And I also tried mpdas (https://github.com/hrkfdn/mpdas) which seems better than mpd-scrobbler, but it doesn't work well over UPnP/with A+).
