I have a 5.0 system and use Jriver for music (stereo and mch) and for video and TV. I would like to use JRSS upmixing from stereo sources to mch but only for video and TV. Is there a way to setup Jriver that JRSS is only used to video and TV?

My CPU is i7 4790K. I do not have an separat graphic cards, CUDA is disabled. I also tried switching Hyperthreading on/off but there is no difference. As long as I turn on Pipeline SDM it is stuttering massively.

I solved my problems with stuttering by disabling "Pipeline SDM". Now the load on two cores is higher (about 50%) but there is no stuttering. When I turn on "Pipeline SDM" 4 cores are used but with massive stuttering when upsampling from PCM to DSD64, 128, 256. @Miska: Can you please check if there is something wrong with the "Pipeline SDM" option. I thought this option should improve the performance and not decrease it. I have two feature requests: 1) Support for DSD ISO files (like from PENTATONE | the music label for classical music) 2) Support for multichannel speaker delay in DirectSDM mode with as little CPU consumption as possible Thanks, Frank

I also still have these stuttering problems with 3.12. I'm on Win 7, i7, Z97 chipset, 16GB DDR3, SSD. I'm not able to upsample to any DSD. Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile mobile app

I experience the same problems with stuttering. I thought upgrading from i5 4590 to i7 4790k will solve the problem, but I am still not able to get any upsampling from PCM to DSD64, 128, 256 working without stuttering or clicks. The CPU load is not really high (15-40%) and I don't know where the bottleneck is. I am using Win7 and a Merging Technologies Hapi.

What Computer setup do I need to handle multichannel DSD with speaker setup in HQPlayer? I tried it with i5 4590, Intel Z97m, SSD but I get massive interruptions and clicks!

Is there a way to reset Hqplayer stettings to default? I put the wrong filter files in the convolution settings and now it crashes directly when I start Hqplayer.

A dealer in Germany told me that summing all 8 channels to stereo is only possible with NADAC and not with Hapi. -

Is someone using Merging Hapi with DA8P card in his home audio system? What are the main differences between NADAC and Hapi with DA8P card? I cannot see anything that is worth spending the difference amount of money between them. Is it possible to use the Hapi directly on active speakers?
