  1. @Dev, Thanks for sharing there is no fanless case for NUC8 yet. Hope to hear news here if new fanless cases for NUC8 are available. I eagerly wait for people to share their comparison of sound quality in AL between NUC7 and NUC8 models. Indeed that's an interesting experiment.
  2. Hi all, I seldom post in forums and this is my first post here. Thanks to all for the interesting posts and sharing in this topic. Decided to try AL. Now have AL/ramboot/extreem on a HiGame Core i7 PC 8GB as Roon Bridge and like the Sound Quality. Dac is Hugo2. Roon server is on a Intel i7 Win10 pc. Music is non oversample CD quality on NAS or from Tidal. Will continue to use AL and try other things over time. Like AL for Roon server (replace win10), remove SSD, power supply etc - lots of things to try. Fun and improved SQ as a bonus! See many have experiance good sound quality with the NUC7 series like: NUC7¡7DNKE & NUC7¡7DNHE Intel® NUC Board NUC7¡7DNBE Question: How is the Sound Quality of the NUC8 services with AL/ramboot/Extreme ? As Roon Bridge, Roon Server, Squezelite/LMS etc. Will love to hear from anyone who has compared the 2 serices, NUC7 and NUC8 for sound quality. Which specific NUC7 and NUC8 models sounds best from what you hear? Happy listening
  3. Thanks for sharing your impression. Interesting reading about the other software which I don't use. I used Audirvana+ exclusively and love it for the sound quality and library management. Recently also started using Roon 1.4 to play music across the home network. I don't upsample or alter volume as I let the Chord Hugo2 dac do it's magic with bit perfect input and alter the volume. Am very happy with the sound quality and library of both Audirvana+ and Roon
  4. Hi All, I have Audirvana Plus 3.2.6. Love the excellent sound quality and library management. Thanks for the music, Damian. So far I have been connecting mac running A+ directly via usb to the Dac. Questions: 1.How do I use the Upnp ? How to play from A+ to UPnP player? 2. I have an Raspberry Pi 3 running moode connect to another dac, and a SOtM Sms-200 player that I like A+ to send music to. Is that possible? If yes, how do I do that? 3. Does A+ work with other software like LMS? 4. Suggestion: in A+ preference to add links to online A+ help and manual. Thank you.
  5. I just installed Audirvana 3.0.1; I previously had been using 2.6.6 with Mac OS (10.12.3). I keep Exclusive Access and Integer Mode active. I listen exclusively with headphones, and I like the SQ improvement I'm hearing. No problems installing. I deleted my old library files before installing 3. Am using a Chord Mojo Dac. The library is working fine. Audirvana 3 sounds great. Thanks Damien for improving the Sound Quality, the new features and bug fixes.
  6. I tried Audirvanan 2.6 with Chord Dave and Hugo 2 in CanJam in Singapore. Hugo 2 and Dave Sounds Fantastic. Hugo 2 is great value for money due to it's lower price.
  7. QUOTE=tcmods;462595]Hi, Enjoying a really great T. Monk playlist "whole-house" with iTunes and shairport-sync :-) Regards, Tim[ QUOTE] I've upgraded and am enjoying Moode 2.3 now. Thanks Tim for this excellent player. Rick
  8. kit1cat, Thanks for your pointer. Yes album art is working for me now. Customise > Album Art lookup = default. Album art renamed as folder.jpg in the album folder. I did a MPD database update. Now enjoying the excellent music and album art
  9. Yes I tried both. Update the folder, as well as a reboot of P2. Cover art not found. I place the folder.jpg in same folder as the songs. I am running moode 2.1.
  10. kit1cat, thank for your suggestion. Unfortunately it does not work for me. Still enjoying the music
  11. Album art in moode browser display: I noticed that my album jpg in the same folder as the songs are not display in the browser. How do I get it to display?
  12. Hi Tim, Thanks for Moode. I've been running Moode for a few days with my Raspberry Pi 2 and WIPIFI DAC+ V2 . Love the amazing sound quality of Moode. And love the SDCARD feature. I have a 64GB SDcard for Moode with several CD quality albums on it. Now I get to do playback these albums without an attached USB Harddisk. SACARD playback sounds great and I reduce the power consumption and wear on the harddisk. Thanks for this excellent software. Great to see your close support Rick
