hello, i need a new DAC to use with my active monitors (genelec 8330A's) and i've narrowed down to these two, i've been out of the loop for some time now so if you think there's something better in similar price range i'd like to hear your opinion.

hello i'm currently using Matrix Quattro DAC & Genelec 8030A (upgrading to 8330B soon, as they come with Room EQ) i used to have Burson HA-160D (which i originally used with Audeze LCD-2) but the stepped attenuator made it impossible to use it with speakers despite being much better than my current DAC. as i mentioned i need XLR outputs and volume control, i had my eyes set on Audiolab M-DAC but i'm not sure if it would provide a meaningful upgrade....
