  1. Do you think that connecting the JCAT USB card to my second CPU connected PCIe slot (the second graphics card slot) WHILE having a powerful graphics card installed (GTX 1070) would be preferable to having it going via the chipset (PCH) PCIe slot? I only ask because while I know there are a bunch of (noise adding) devices connected via the chipset (PCH), that the graphics card is the most power intensive device in my PC and I wonder if it adds more/less noise compared to the devices on the chipset? Though the graphics card would be idle while listening to serious audio..
  2. I was thinking in terms of playing DSD256 and DSD512 (I've had intermittent playback issues, which I actually traced to the motherboard). When I was installing the new motherboard, and I was wondering if it was worth actually having the JCAT card in a higher bandwidth slot (if it would even be utilised). If anyone has technical info, that would be great to know.
  3. How much PCIe bandwidth can the JCAT cards utilise? Is there any point having it in an x4 slot rather than a x1 slot?
  4. Can someone who has gone from the previous JCAT USB card and updated to the Femto card describe the difference they experienced? Thanks!
  5. Interesting to know. Thanks for the info!
  6. Has anyone been able to play DSD256 through a LANRover or is it pretty much limited to DSD128?
  7. I wonder how it compares to the AudioQuest DragonTail (which is great for connecting a Regen to an iFi iDSD Micro). Anyone got any thoughts?
  8. I'd take the iUSBPower if you'd be willing to ship it to Australia (I'd cover costs - USPS preferred). Let me know!
  9. I don't know if this has been covered, but what is the quality of the power supply of the power adapter that comes with the REGEN? Has anyone experimented replacing it with (an appropriate) iPower unit?
