  1. You can install the latest cfw revision and it will still work just so you know. You can have the best off both worlds by being able to watch latest bdvd's play all games and still rip sacd's
  2. It's probably a newer BDVD than when the 3.55 firmware was released if your using a 3.55 rebug. I have a tut for the newer 38 sacd if you want to try. Remember your on rebug cfw so you can get back on 3.55 with a few steps if you dont like it https://www.psx-place.com/threads/tutorial-multiman-v04-81-xx-sacd-ripper.12302/
  3. The keys are on the psdevwiki If it has ever had higher firmware then downgraded via fsm then it breaks BDVD playback not sacd playback and bdvd can be restored I did a guide for that after researching it. If a CD and sacd and dvd and finally BDVD all play fine in your console then the drive and laser should be fine You can try updating to rebug and installing the latest sacd ripper and see if that works. The latest ripper deank (multiman dev) and joonie (rebug dev) fixed it so it does not need the keys to work And as you will be on rebug firmware you can simply and easily go back to 3.55
  4. Yes the latest version is signed ready to go No need for the keys And yes you can easly go back to 3.55 Install rebug toolbox Go into the toolbox Far right collum Turn on qaflag Then install a 999 downgrade firmware Rebug or Rogero Then install 3.55 ofw from recovery menu Also anyone on a downgradable console but is on official firmware can now use software to downgrade to 3.55 no more hardware downgrading
  5. If you let Deank (multiman / webman etc dev) know he can fix it for you Or maybe joonie (rebug dev) can too
  6. created a guide in the first post see if that helps you set it up multiMAN v04.81.xx & SACD Ripper | PSX-Place
  7. As I said before It's for custom firmware 3.55 - 4.81 Not official firmware This version is stand alone. No keys needed for initial install. So this means you can get the latest rebug firmware from rebug.me Not latest firmware from sony Btw I did message you about this.
  8. sacd_ripper has now been updated by developers Deank & joonie for 3.55 to 4.** custom firmware (not official firmware) is to be installed now you can play the latest bluray films and even latest ps3 games on your console and not loose sacd ripping function also install rebug rex from rebug.me to have fan controller to keep the system cooler to protect your console from ylod (over heat) link multiMAN v04.81.xx & SACD Ripper | PSX-Place
  9. It should "prepare for install" then re-start and install Are you sure it has not installed it Do you have "install package files" folder in the game Column If not then start the update again and let me know at what % does the transfer get to before it jumps to 100% to restart
  10. you still have to hardware patch the NAND chips to install either 3.55 via fsm (this will mess up bluray film play back (although I do have a fix for this)) or patch for 4.50 and use rogero 999 downgrader to get to 3.55 on a side note I have re-signed the sacd-Ripper.pkg to work on all cfw versions so you no longer need to be on 3.55 for it to run but I'm still working on permissions for lv1 access there is still no software only way to get to 3.55 from 3.56+ consoles I have a full guide on how to do this on ps3hax or and if anyone in the uk wants there's doing for them then I do offer this service.
  11. @Mr Wicked Can you update the ripper for the newer firmwares as simply re-signing the eboot although allows the tool to work it gives error that it cannot access lv1 Or do you have the source I can access
