  1. Marantz HD DAC1. Well built. Really nice sounding with a good remote. $799. https://www.stereolifemagazine.com/reviews/item/1044-marantz-hd-dac1
  2. Is your mini responsive otherwise... as in everyday tasks, or don't you use it for that? I ask, because it sounds like your hard drive might be getting flaky. I support Macs and have had hard drives become slow to respond before a major failure.
  3. I just ordered a USB Regen on Thursday of last week and got one of the last units to be shipped in September per the email from Uptone: If your order was for a USB REGEN, August production is all sold-out and your unit will ship by the middle of September. You will receive a notice with tracking number from the US Postal Service once your order has shipped. Thank you for your patience as we ramp up to ever larger production of this exciting and musically beneficial device. So if I'm slated to get mine shipped by mid September, you should be good for that ship date or earlier.
  4. This is from The Audirvana forum. Note in the third paragraph Damien addressing the IOS Remote. My bolding. Re: Is iTunes Integraded Mode Inferior Sonically? Postby damien » Sat Jul 04, 2015 9:11 pm Short answer: yes Main reason being that iTunes still has some processes running in the audio domain and that are not designed to be shut down by another application. The difference can be lessened by disabling the play position & volume synchronization, but it still exists. What are the bugs you are facing? What do you see missing? This is a support forum, and thus nearly 100% of the posts here are about issues faced by users, not all of them being bugs. And I'm close to completion for the iOS remote... If you are using iTunes to catalog your library, the metadata must already be there. And the "Sync" iTunes library button in the Library page of Audirvana Plus preferences is there for that. Even the not saved correctly by iTunes album art images can now be retrieved. And btw, contrary to iTunes (unless changed in its advanced settings), Audirvana Plus is not duplicating the audio files, or messing with their location on the disk upon import.
