Is there no way to make Audiolense directly compatible to set up DEXQ Room Correction capabilities??

I can’t help but be curious as to what it would have cost them to build the Da Vinci model when they became aware they could not mass produce the Vi DAC??

Seems like More than one person in this thread has made multiple Deqx upgrades as new models came out. Is there a Deqx upgrade program?

Was anyone using a Vi DAC at RMAF?

Have been a huge fan of this company for well over a decade. i am going to shoe horn in a little history about my experience with them. i was helping a friend put together his Home Theater here in Dallas and picked all the gear that would be part of his system. i had spec'd a very early Oppo DVD player as a source for a JVC DILA Front Projector. William Phelps whom was well known for his expertise in CRT Projector Circles in this period had just started some advanced calibrations with JVC products. He ask me a few questions that quickly went beyond my depth about our DVD source of choice. i put a very confused Senior contact at Oppo in direct touch with William and it turned out after a few conversations via email that they were some 12 miles apart. The Oppo peeps grabbed their Engineers and accepted Williams offer to come see his then State of the Art "Halo Deck" Projection Room for themselves. I suppose they were curious as to why this odd CRT Projector Enthusiast segment of the marketplace had shown such rabid excitement for their gear. They had never thought in terms of the resolution required to fill 120" screens prior to that encounter.

I am on the list for the Vi DAC Tube. i do not currently have any of my Audio Gear up & running nor have I cleared the space necessary for that endeavor. I am quite happy to see that for some it is not Vaporware but sad to hear about quality control issues.

I recently located a legacy Audio Alchemy Power Station Two PSU & was giving some thought to mounting an HDPlex 160 Watt ATX within its interior & then routing its Output to the 4 pin on my NUC 5i5mybe board. Not at all my area of expertise so I am all ears. Thanks

I am patiently awaiting my Vi DAC Tube delivery.

Sonic Studios responded that they are planning to add DSD support to a future version that supports local file playing. My mistake above. Tidal has NO DSD long range plans that I am aware of.

All clear now that Tidal does not support DSD & my guess would be that they will not be likely to be doing so any time in the near future.
