Hi Jud, Do you mean disabling SIP= System Integrity Protection for running apps like HQP- player from Ramdisk doesn't helped? Ps. The suggestion of of KunterK Copy the HQPlayer App to Ramdisk Go to RamDisk and right (two finger) click on HQPlayer Select "Show Package Contents" Go to Contents Go to Mac and run the HQP from there... Really works

Hi Miska, Latest version of HQP Is installed properly and intact in the folder programs and is running well directly assessed from SDXH card. After copying by means of a script-file isn't to a Ramdisk 1 it fails to open. Referring yr statement how to sign HQP on the Ramdisk properly ?? Best regards, Andreas

Dear Jussi, I cannot copy HQPlayer 3.11 to Ramdisk ( 512 Mb) anymore since I have installed version 3.11 instead of 3.09 and have installed recently El Capitan 10.11.1 om Mac mini Server 2012 model I7 with 16Gb ram. I am running OS El Capitan from SDXC card and have a script installing about 7.9 Gb of music files to first Ramdisk and also HQPlayer to a separate Ramdisk. If I try to open the HQPlayer from Ramdisk it tells that that file is corrupt and/or damaged! I suppose that have to copy other HQP-system files also to the Ramdisk ? Please advice.. Thanks Miska or Jussy, Many thanks that volume control and a black screen (after returning from Full screen mode in the main window toolbar) will be repaired by next OSX-release. Planned when? Just another general remark. Referring to Signalist-website it is very difficult to understand (for me :-( ) how HQPlayer Embedded, HQPlayer Desktop Control and for example Network Audio Daemon are functioning / to be installed and on which platform this working (Linux, Win or preferably OSX)? Also your manual isn't always consistent and aligned. For example: increase Buffer time to 50 ms or more from the File .. Settings dialog. This isn't working in OSX etc. There are in my opinion nowadays too many imperfections in the manual for example an earlier problem / bug. The overall toolbar disappeared after accidentally clicking the right mouse button! And was only recoverable by means of special command line in the OSX terminal. A better manual explaining in layman's terms explaining all settings and functionality would be a great improvement for this w o n d e r f u l sounding application and would save a lot time of lesser emails! Ps. And I do not need to qualify as a computer expert in which I frankly do not appetite in. :-)) Very best regards / Parhain terveisin, AndreasB.

Hallo Miska & Jussy 1) I have detected two small bugs in HQP. Namely in Full screen mode ON in Main Device settings. When I return from Full screen mode in the Normal Library main window resp. toolbar the entire screen becomes black. Ps. Than I have to quit HQP and need a restart. Ps. I use headless screen sharing with my Music Mac Mini If I turn- off Full screen mode in Device settings .....this doesn’t happen. Weird or not? 2) I cannot use the volume button anymore when playing Redbook up ampling to DSD 64. Or is this blocked due to the fact that I use Direct SDM? In awaiting your reply. Dear Miska/ Jussy and also Bibo01, Many thanks for the quick reply. This script helps to restore the toolbar and HQP 3.8.1. is fully functional again. Maybe an idea to incorporate in both screens the checkbox for restoring the Toolbar? I suppose I am not the first person who wasn't able to restore without this kind of help. I am fully convinced about the fine sonic qualities of HQP especially to run it from SDXC-card or may be even better (?) from Ramdisk (512Mb) and my music from a separate Ramdisk (7.5 GB). Both 2x 1TB HD turned off and Yosemite also on SDXC (95mb/s) Herewith a positive remark regarding latest manual. It seems not up to date concerning concerning latest options: whats in detail matrix processing and how to install/ build Touch-GUI, Light weight desktop-GU for use with tablets. What is Dual wire" channel bonding? What I am especially looking for to how to set up an NAA within Mac environment etc. Have found al lot on CA but that is rather fragmented and time consuming too. Notwithstanding I will buy your fine program. Very best regards. Andreas
