Thank You Gentleman for all the advice and suggestions. looking into the Wyred 4 sound Dac 2, My Line Stage and power amp are tubes. In reading the specs and reviews it seems that this would compliment my existing 2 channel system nicely. Another big plus is that the Dac 2 is upgradable. Once Again Thanks Happy Listening

The Dac would live next to the iMac, I have high quality single ended interconnects to run into the main system.What would be the best connection type between the iMac and Dac? For best sonics! Also the budget is just for the Dac $1500 to $2000 Thanks

Greetings Folks, my name is Jose A Newbie and looking forward to learning a few things from all you great people here. I'll start by saying, that I'm not computer savvy. I'm into analog, but when working in the office, I would like to have my iMac run thru my two channel system. I need the freedom of not having to tend to the turntable. I have a dedicated line stage(single ended)and a tube power amp.When using the iMac, I mainly listen to Pandora and my iTunes music list.The iMac is about 18 feet from the main system. Need a simple to use set up, from what I'm reading a dac seems to be what most are using. If so what would be the one too look for and what type of connectivity?
