I'm not sure I understand the conflict bit but the static IP has worked a treat. Auralic Europe also recommend this is done.

I'd recommend Audio Emotion in Fife. Gary is excellent to deal with and will keep you right.

I have exactly the same problem with my new Aires. If the wifi symbol shows up it requires a full reset, not just a change back to wired in Lightning DS. Did anyone find a solution?
