Did this ever get resolved, I've had a look on their website and there are still no drivers for El Capitan. Am I to assume they have just given up and have said get stuffed to owners of a HiFace with osx 10.11?

Thanks but have already tried that. After resetting and going through the setup I see it has gone back to the default name but after entering the wifi details it sits with a flashing white LED for a few minutes and then reboots and goes back to a flashing amber with the auralic wifi active. If I'm really patient and go through the setup quite a few times it will join wifi and I can use it for a few days before it goes loopy again. Losing my patience now and beginning to think it's a piece of shite.

Does anyone know how to hard reset the Aries mini? Mine has got stuck in some sort of loop where it won't join the network, I setup the networking via the builtin Aries wifi and then it restarts and just goes back to the builtin wifi again. I've emailed Auralic support but have had no response for 2 weeks now.

I upgraded to 10.11 when it was first released but with the USB DAC connected went into an endless crash/restart loop so restored a backup of 10.10 Nothing has changed, it is a headless server that only runs A+ and Roon, I don't have updates install automatically and just VNC onto it every few week/months to check for updates. I don't use the Mini for anything else except music. Not using iTunes integration and there is nothing in my itunes library. Running the latest beta version with Qobuz integration (think it is 2.2.9), can't remember when it was released but was installed a good while before the stuttering started. Have just bought the lifetime licence for Roon and that is working fine so I'm not going to play around trying to fix A+ now but thanks for the replies.

Obviously not a very popular product as no traffic on the A+ forum and no help here either. Will delete the app and write off the money spent. Please close the thread.

I had it set to 1.5GB originally but 512MB is enough for 12 mins @ 44k and it still stutters so don't think it is a buffering issue. Have never had upsampling switched on. a1 by The Biglebowski, on Flickr a2 by The Biglebowski, on Flickr

I'm having the same problem but with FLAC of different codecs, my Mac isheadless so restarting A+ is a pain. Had to stop using it today as it was stuttering/distorting on pretty much every song. I've just posted a new thread about it.

For the last few days a stuttering has started during playback of tracks. It doesn't happen on all tracks in an album but seems to be around 1 in 5 and is not dependent on codec. I have the playback buffer set to 512MB so don't think it is a network issue. The vast majority of my library is 16/44, 24/96 and a few 24/192 setup is QNAP NAS > Gig ethernet > Router > Gig ethernet > Mac Mini 2015 (i5 & 4GB RAM & OSX 10.10.5) > USB (data only) > Chord Qute EX Any ideas or things to check, posted this on the A+ forum but it appears to be very quiet with very few visits or posts?

Go to the partition tab and select one partition and choose GUID and then try again.

I've got a 2015 Mac Mini with a Qute EX and have exactly the same problems as you, tried removing the drivers but still get kernel panics. Doesn't happen with other USB devices, have tried a 64GB USB key and wireless mouse/keyboard and both work fine Have also tried with my Resonessence Concero and that doesn't crash either.

Thanks, I've pulled the trigger on an Audirvana licence now as it sounds much better than JRMC. I really liked JRMC but the problems in v20 and the lack of support just got on my nerves. They are great speakers and I was so lucky that they came available at the same time as the DV amps, as a dedicated box swapper I've had them for nearly a year now so that must be a good sign
