Is it possible to control the media player (raspberry pi) without a network- example if I want to carry this around in an offline environment- how do i control it ?

Built this - configuration 3 using the above instructions. Connected the Dragonfly v 1.2 today- Volumio detected in a few seconds. There have been comments of the Raspberry Pi's compatibility with the Dragonfly but confirming that it works out of the box. Thanks for the wonderful article.
