  1. Hi Demian. Thanks for your reply. I recently (4 months ago?) got a firmware update from Ray - does version 87-172 make sense? Would it help it I set the NAS to a static IP address? "Force of habit" is the answer. The unit used to run pretty hot before I added the LPS (or updated the firmware - they happened at the same time so I'm not sure which reduced the unit's running temperature) and so a daily shutdown made sense.
  2. Hi. I hope you're still around on this forum! I've just got a NAS set up and "discover network shares" works fine, but would you please be able to tell me if you need to do this every time the Auraliti gets re-started? At the moment, I tend to turn the unit (and its LPS) off every night, but so far my experience is that I have to discover the network shares afresh when the unit gets turned on. This is mildly annoying for me, but is a "I don't like this Auraliti thing anymore" issue for my lady.
  3. Hello good folks. First time poster here. I have (finally) set up a NAS (a QNAP TS-431) to feed my Auraliti PK100. I've got it working, but it seems that I have to run "Share Discovery" every time I restart the Auraliti (which is every morning under my current practice). Can anyone tell me if this is correct? I have emailed Ray at Auraliti, but, well, based on previous experience I may not hear from him for a while. Thoughts and suggestions greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
