Thanks Dave! The special instructions for OFW 3.55 worked for me. I was able to rip a SACD, then played the ISO in a JRiver Player. I'm confident that the extract process is going work as well. Now I will have backups! Charles

I have a CECHA with OFW 3.55. I verified that the SACD functions fine, among others . When I tried to update with the OtherOS 3.55, it says I'm at most current already. That's what I expected to see per the Primer v4.0.1 Section 2, step 16. So I re-started at Section 3. But when I got to Step 7, the 'Install Pkg file' option is not there. I thought I had read that I can somehow 'force' the OtherOS somewhere in this thread, but I'm not able to locate that anymore. Any and all assistance are very much appreciated. I'm very new with PS3. charles
