    HQ Player

Does HQplayer have a folder version that just follow the way the PC directory is structured? I seem to lose some folder and files after scanning in library.

Does anyone know where to download the latest 3.16 user manual. The new setting and filters are fairly confusing for me without a detail description. I am using a NUC with i5-5250U dual core. I set to multicore and I see the cpu loading went up to 50% from 30% with dsd 128 conversion.

Can anyone point me to instructions on how to set up NAA on a Rasberry Pi 3? TIA

I am ready to try NAA for my HQP. Can anyone point me to a clear step by step instruction on how to set up NAA, maybe using a Rasberry Pi3. TIA

    HQ Player

I finally brought HQplayer. But I can't seem to get it to output DSD, my dac can take DSD input. How to set it to output DSD? I am running it under Ubuntu Studio with the latest Intel NUC. Also, in PCM 384k over sampling, the cpu load is around 5%, what might be a good setting?
  6. I finally got HQplayer which can use a filter file generated by Room EQ wizard. I also got an Intel NUC as I need a more power processor.

So can anyone help me if I can use a parametric equalizer in HQplayer. Thanks.

Can I ask is there anyway to add parametric EQ function to HQplayer? I am just testing it under Ubuntu Studio. TIA.

Hi, I plan set up a computer music server (my first) and HQ player seems to be a good choice for the music player. Can I ask if I plan to run some room correction does HQ player support it. For hardware, will the newer Intel NUC (i5 running Ubuntu Studio) has enough processing power to do all the upsampling and room EQ . Thanks.
  10. Ok, I just realize that there are also Intel NUC and Brix . Any opinion on those vs a build from the Q2900.
  11. Hi, I am totally new to room EQ and Linux, so I hope this will not be too much for me to chew on. I plan to run Ubuntu as my next music server (currently using Popcorn hour C200) with media store in hard disk. I hope to learn to use some form of room EQ to fix my far from ideal room acoustic problem. Hardware wise I have eye on the Asrock Q2900 itx which is fanless. Is Ubuntu good choice? And what is a good Room EQ to go with that? I know I have a lot to learn. TIA.
  12. Thanks for the replies. It seems the j2900 cpu might be good enough, but I do plan to run some form of room correction eq (most probably with Ubuntu and Jriver or others, I am a total newbie in Linux setup). Any other fanless recommendations, both in hardware and software? Thanks.
  13. Hi, I plan to build a music server as my main audio source. This will replace my current media player Popcorn Hour C200. I will be running some room correction maybe with some form of Linux (Ubuntu studio?) , is the Asrock Q2900 ITX (because I want fanless) good enough and what other hardware do I need to be aware of, such as power supply and case. TIA
