  1. I did an A/B comparison of the neo versus the original ultra at my dealer. Believe me when I tell you the neo is a vast improvement that will make you not look back. The original sounds very good but the neo improves on the few deficiencies of the original in a big way. I found the high end dynamics to be much more realistic and natural. This was my biggest beef with the original.
  2. Do you have any details on this part and where it can be oredered from? Thanks
  3. Does anybody have information on the part that was swapped out on the neo upgrade? I really don't want to wait any longer for this if it is simply changing out a capacitor. I don't understand what the shroud of secrecy is about on this upgrade.
  4. Can't wait to hear your opinion on it.
  5. My dealer said he was getting the parts in August. I asked him if I coukd also keep the old parts in case I liked the sound of the original more and he said yes. I hope this will in fact be the case.
  6. I noticed that the footnotes in the manual on page 7 indicate that the default frequency of the master clock is 10.
  7. It should be simple enough to order one of each cable and try them to see if one of them works - assuming you have a clock that runs 50 and 75. I would love to know if this mod will work as I have no intention on sending my units to Korea.
  8. Thanks - a lot of good information here. Regards
  9. mfin, Are you able to list out the NUC parts list and instructions on how to get roon rock going? I think I'm going to give it a shot myself. Thanks
  10. I just looked at all manuals. The sms-500 is capable of 5A at 12V. Both the sms-200ultra and the txUSB ultra can be set to 7V (at 2A each?) and the dlink can be ordered at 7V and is rated 1A. So....theoretically could you power all 3 with the sms-500 with a custom triple lead cable? Alternatively, could the dlink be powered with a modified cable from the extra usb port on the sms-200 ultra? I have remaining outlets on my wall and I'm looking for a creative solution for this. Thanks
  11. A question to those who have the trifecta and the dlink switch. How are you powering the dlink? Does the sms-500 have enough power to do the trifecta and the dlink? I have the the sms-200 ultra and the sms-500 (thinking about the txUsb), but don't wsnt to buy yet another power supply.
  12. I had a similar but different problem. Turned out it was one of my ethernet cables.
  13. Is it possible to bridge a laptop by using one of those usb to ethernet dongles? Also, can you only bridge Win 10 with the Pro version? I have the Home version. Thanks
  14. I just purchased the SMS-200 Ultra with the Dlink. To Zoltan's point, there is no manual or information on how to connect my equipment. I have a DAC, Roon running off a laptop and a portable USB Hard Drive. Not clear on how to connect everything. Is there a better or best way to connect it all?
