Hi! Anybody figured out the way to connect rendu to synology nas with two ethernet ports? I've tried anything I could find on the internet, there's strange results. First - I locked the rendu ip address with the help of router mac-address configuration. Then I connected devices like this: router -> Eth0 (static configured as 192.168.0.102) -> NAS (running Minimserver) -> Eth1 (static configured as 192.168.0.222) -> rendu - DAC. Then I've tried to configure the Synology via ssh with this commands after logging as admin: sudo -i ' switch from admin to root, needed to run the bridge packages insmod /lib/modules/stp.ko insmod /lib/modules/bridge.ko ' running packages needed to configure the bridge brctl addbr br0 ' creating the br0 bridge ifconfig br0 192.168.0.102 ' assigning the bridge the ip address of eth0 brctl addif br0 eth0 brctl addif br0 eth1 ' adding the eth0 and eth1 to the br0 bridge After that i can see that the bridge was created via brctl show in terminal. Then I have to reboot the rendu to become available via management console. And then - when I run control app (linn kazoo for example) i can reach the rendu, can see the media server but - can't play the music. Tracks are adding to playlist but nothing sounds If i change the audio app to shareport for example - everything works fine, i can play the music via iphone. So - how can I configure the synology + rendu to play without connecting rendu to the router?

MPD stops working after last 2.5 update. I have a microRendu with 2.5 sd card and i'm using it with minimserver as mpd renderer. Everything works ok until today I hit update button in software manager. It updates something, i've rebooted the rendu and after that it won't show in every control app (i'm using linn kinsky & kazoo on mac and lumin, linn kinsky & kazoo on ios). Just "waiting for the room" and nothing happens. I'm using minimserver & mediaserver, both on synology, as is before the rendu update. Can see them inside apps, but there's no renderer I can manage the device, it even plays ok via shairport, so hardware is fine. But there's no way to play it as usual.

The bug with a NAD M51 DAC playback remains in moode 2.0 Still doesn't work.

Actually - 4GB is already enough I have Mac Mini (MC936) as dedicated source - with 4GB + SSD, last Yosemite & Audirvana - as per software everything works fine. BTW - there's a minor issue with fan noise, but it's 2011 models issue, they not as silent as other years models (look in wikipedia for noise level).

Already sent, thank you! As you said I've start the Raspberry (Model 2), plug the DAC, reboot - and no sound. Often moode.local stops responding. Sometimes when I start the playback - i can see on the DAC display that it gets the resolution (44.1, 96) - but that's all
