  1. Great, I don't believe we're renting our router from Comcast actually, we have our own, but do you have any recommendation for the router to get.
  2. Thank you for all the advice. Since we're Comcast customers we can't designate a static IP for just the Auralic (unless we want to pay $16 and probably will rise each year). I will def. experiment with channels. One thing we just ordered is a switch, a Cisco SG300 as we read in the same forum that that worked for someone. Open to changing the router too if that can help.
  3. Thanks for replying! I need to check on what router we have. It does offer 802.11n on the 5GHZ band. We did reset the router, but not the channel, will try that. The only changes made to the music library was burning some cds (AIFF files) and adding them to the music folder, and then reindexing the music on the DAS. Initially I thought the skipping was due to the CD burn not working but then after listening to all our music everything was skipping.
  4. We are running the Auralic Aries on a wireless connection (on a dynamic address with Comcast). Initially we were able to listen wirelessly to our music library (AIFF files) running off a NAS server without the music stuttering. Now after a few months, and some updates to our music library, about 30 or so seconds into a song, it stutters/skips and continues to stutter. Radio works fine. We've ran a CAT6 cable with no stuttering. BUT, and here is the big BUT, the music sounds so much warmer, welcoming, interesting with a wireless connection (using a MAC6700 by McIntosh with Rockport Atria speakers). Anyone have a suggestion as to how to fix this. We are waiting for support from Auralic and hope to hear back but in the meantime this is killing me.
