  1. Sorted out, Sudo nano /etc/ld.so.conf.d/rocm.conf add "/opt/rocm-5.0.0/lib” sudo ldconfig
  2. @Miska I am using 107amd now, failed to upgrade to 134amd with "error while loading shared libraries: libamdhip64.so.5", noticed earlier release cannot be downloaded anymore "ERROR 403: Forbidden", Hopefully can get some help here, thank you!
  3. I just followed the instruction here and it works perfectly now with 512, 96k PCM -> ext3+7ECv2
  4. I got error with "libamdhip64.so.4: cannot open shared object file:" when start hqplayerd with 100amd, also noticed all the package required are related to amd gpu, while ryzen 5900x has no integrated video. Will try again.

  6. @Miska Hi Jussi, in the best cpu thread you showed multicore support with both 256/512 on ryzen 5800x, are these fully available in 4.28 now? As I noticed with ryzen 5900x and multicore=1, I am good with dsd256 using ext3+7ECv2, but no much improvement with dsd512. By the way, is avx2 enabled by default?

    Thanks Jussi for looking into this, actually got it working in Windows, while only for -2s, non-2s GPU went to 100%, my impression hqplayer depends on CUDA FP64 performance while seems not that much.

  11. That’s very nice, I couldn’t make it with e5-2680v2 (10c 2.8g with performance mode in kernel it actually runs 3.1g mostly) with non-2s/512, non-2s/256 all good, thinking about adding a tesla m2090 for assisstence as low cost alternative, I am using ubuntu 16 with naa on 2012r2+ao.
  12. Using e5-2670 while no much luck with xtr from pcm->dsd512, from dsd64->dsd512 is fine using xtr. Wondering if it worth to upgrade to e5-2680v2. 1920x(12c 24ht), per thread 1992, avg cpu mark 17982 e5-2670 (8c 16ht), per thread 1583, avg cpu mark 12233 e5-2680v2 (10c, 20ht), per thread 1806, avg cpu mark 15906
