  1. I already did, it helped a little, but the change in 3 over 2.2.6 is really substantial on my system, it's like serious shift in eq, not the subtle changes you get from playing about with izotope. I would be interested to know Damien's thoughts on the shift in sound on this new version, and if there is any chance in future versions to maybe have some presets to replicate some of the different sound profiles this program has had during its development. 2. My system has my mac running to a Arcam ir dac, that runs into the analog Inputs on my Denon AVR X7200wa. That's driving two Kef LS50's and a BK XXLS400 sub for music duties. This may seem like a shock for purists, but I am using the Audyssey room calibration settings at reference, and it makes everything sound alive with amazing soundstage and depth. For me it sounds like the band is in the room. When I use the direct settings things are just a bit flat. Anyway back to V3 of Audirvana, It feels to me that what ever Audyssey has done with the eq on my system to make it sound like it does, it's like the new Audirvana 3 has done something similar, kind off boosted certain frequencies in the top end. But now on my system, it just sound way to bright and a bit fatiguing. It for me is not a slight change, but quite a big one. Integer mode 2 was a little better, and I have no idea what I should try with the iZotope settings to try and calm it down. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. I was also having this same problem with going back to 2.2.6 after demoing 3.2 It looks like RunHomeSlow has posted a solution to that which I shall try later. On my system the new version does sound cleaner, there is more separation and seems to be a bigger sound stage, but it also has lost something in the low end, to where my system does not sound balanced any more, where as before it sounded spot on with anything I put through it. Maybe I will need to start looking at the filter settings to try and get that low end richness back? Hopefully I will have more time to play at the weekend, as I am currently moving Audivrana from my old do it all MacBook, to a dedicated Mac mini setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Click the mode 1 button and change it to mode 2. Then listen to the difference in sound Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I finally got round to updating to 2.6.4 today from 2.5.4 Happy to say that everything went smoothly, and have been using it all night via the app on my iPad mini. It's installed on my old 2008 MacBook running OS X 10.10.5 All my albums seem in order, but I did spend a bit of time over the winter going through them, and fixing meta data with music tag editor. Have not really dug into the updates yet, to busy just listening to music. Thanks Damian Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Akg n60 could be a good option Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I noticed it happen to mine just before I upgraded to 2.4 I don't think I did any os update in that time, but I may have done a iTunes upgrade. But I run Audirvana independently now.
  8. Depends where you play your music. Flac lossless etc will always sound better on a big system. We hear the difference in certain sound systems.
