  1. This would mean i have to go for analog out of the Oppo into analog in of the receiver since my receiver (Marantz SR7500) doesn't have HDMI in. Just read the following: Oppo 105D SACD-R support was removed in firmware 50-0323B Is it possible to roll back to an old firmware on the Oppo 105D? Really want to be able to play SACD-R as I do on my Pioneer.
  2. That's good to know. So the Oppo 103 and 105 can play dsf and dff files in multichannel. You connect your computer to the USB DAC input of the Oppo, but how do you connect the Oppo to your receiver, via 5.1 channel audio out --> 5.1 channel audio in of the receiver?
  3. I already use a computer and DSD-capable DAC, but only with the Pioneer i have the option to play SACD multichannel. The DSD-capable DAC only plays SACD Stereo. I don't believe there is a DSD-capable DAC that supports multichannel output.
  4. Thanx Ted for the quick reply! So if you only have the extracted DSF/DFF files and not the original SACD ISO, the only option is to rip the SACD again with the PS3 to an SACD ISO file?
  5. Hello all, I've burned a SACD ISO to a DVD-R and can play the disc in my Pioneer dvd player. I was wondering if it would be possible to burn extracted DFF/DSF files from an SACD ISO to a DVD-R and play it in the same way on my Pioneer? If not, is it possible to make an original SACD ISO from the extracted DFF/DSF files? Hope someone can help me out. Cheers
