  1. Fan-bloody-tastic DT... I spent a good couple of hours using the Wayback machine without any luck, so kudos to you for managing to locate them... many thanks my friend :)
  2. Hey there DT... appreciate the feedback... Yes, tried ASIO4ALL without any luck... I also run jRiver MC and can see and select DAC212 [wasapi] so can therefore stream everything at the correct bitrate via that platform... but streaming via windows where ASIO appears to be needed has thus far eluded me, hence the search for the original drivers... I've seen these mentioned elsewhere online and may also have been available via their website back around 2015, but not now...
  3. Bit of a longshot, I have a DiDit 212 DAC with its wand remote on loan, nothing else has been supplied and she works quite beautifully with the optical & coaxial inputs... However, without the appropriate Win11/ASIO 64bit drivers, when trying to use browser related streams (Radio Paradise, Bandcamp, DiFM) or Qobuz via the Windows app, the highest bitrate I can get to play is 32bit/44.1. Anything above that sounds distorted... As expected, when checking the Windows Device Manager, the DAC212 appears under "Other Devices" with a driver error.. All emails, Facebook messages and phone calls to DiDit High End in Holland have gone unanswered, whilst internet searches have thus far proved fruitless, so any pointers would be very much appreciated... :) Kind regards Pete
  4. As way of an update... and another question... I've finally purchased and added a Matrix H USB 3 interface card within my Korus Win10 music server which allows me to connect my CXN streamer and obtain a markedly better sound than using one of the standard USB outs. There’s also internal and external power supply support, which is switchable on the Matrix H rear panel and with this in mind, I’m looking for suggestions of cost effective 9-12v (1200mA) linear PSU’s, which cost wise, sits between the £50 iFI 12v low noise power supplies and the more expensive examples around £200/£300... Thanks in advance.. 😎
  5. Fantastic stuff chaps, many thanks for the pointers. If anybody has direct experience using any of these products, please chime in and let us know ☺️
  6. I've been happily running a Korus Win10 64bit music server (i3 3220 CPU @ 3.30GHz) for 5 years now but it appears that the dedicated PPA Studio USB card has gone faulty. As seen below, it connects to a spare PCI-E slot and enables USB connection to my RME ADI-2 DAC via one of two USB ports. I've taken the PPA USB card out of my server and having fitted it to a second spare PC, that too is unable to detect the DAC when its attached. If I connect the DAC to one of the standard motherboard USB sockets (on the music server or the spare PC) both detect the DAC. Before I go ahead and look at replacing it with a modern replacement (available here) does anybody have any other internally fitted recommendations? I'm not interested in SPDIF or Toslink, just USB to USB connection... Many thanks in advance, Pete
  7. Hi all... I'm currently running an M2Tech Young DAC with a Palmer PSU, but does anybody else with the same combination experience a momentary break in operation when the Palmer PSU switches from battery power to charge mode? Am I doing something wrong? Cheers Pete
