  1. Someone help me understand how this makes any sense?
  2. Sadly, I now believe that this setup was staged. The missing wires are one thing (they could have been concealed / tucked away neatly), but when you consider the subwoofer being on the lower shelf of this table (instead of being on the carpeted floor) you gotta realize how bad that would be. Two big-ass vases sitting next to it on the same shelf - they would just rattle along to your music. No way this was ever turned on the way it's set up here.
  3. No, they are not Audioengines. They are Kanto YU5 powered studio monitors, and a Kanto YURI powered subwoofer: Kanto YU5 | Powered Bookshelf Speakers | Kanto YURI | Kantoliving
  4. I would do a) Trust iTunes, it's doing a great job of keeping your files. I kept making the same mistake until about 6-7 years ago. Then I stopped resisting the Apple paradigm. All my headaches went away. Just pretend your a computer illiterate and it will work to your advantage.
  5. Ahh! How could I have missed Trentemoller! Absolutely, the very best there is. The instrumental version of Moan is just heart wrenching.
  6. Burial! Excellent choice. If you like Burial, you should also check out Broadway Project, and my personal favorite, Murcof. I love electronic music and it's absolutely compatible with being an audiophile. Yello is of course a big one, although I think their earlier records weren't great production quality but everything since Pocket Universe is top notch... Some more audiophile-quality artists: Vector Lovers, Monolake, Lorn.
