  1. OK, I have this problem with getting connected to Aries Mini in two different cases as follows : 1. First time I switch on (of course it's been already setup), it cannot connect to wireless network. Most of the time I end up re-setup the device. 2. I have been using iPhone 6 to control aries mini. Let's say it's all setup and I started playing a song. After a while I grab the phone and open the app on the iphone6. Around 80% of my attempts to change the track with iphone6 it reads "No Device". 50% of them, it manages to find the device after 3-5 seconds, and other times it cannot find the aries mini. Please help me with those two problems. Cheers!
  2. Yes, I mean for switching it completely off. Why am I asking for this? 1. It is very uncommon to switch off a device by removing the power from the outlet. 2. After step 1, if I try to switch it on by putting the adapter back on, sometimes it cannot connect to wireless network (although the wifi was switched on long time ago) and all you are left as an option is to reinstall it which is annoying indeed.
  3. I would like to know when Auralic will allow us use the middle button on the auralic aries mini for power off and on. It is utterly unprofessional and odd to have the plug the power cord to power on the unit.
  4. Hi again, I checked almost the whole thread but could not find a matching post to my problem. Yesterday I finally received and did setup the auralic mini. The trouble is, after logging into tidal whenever I try to play anything on tidal (controlling via ipad mini of course) it says "Unable to play selected streaming track" and does not play it. After several attempts I managed to play few files with around 5% success rate. That means only around 5% of my attempts was succesful and played the those 5% with no interruption (except for two of them). I also contacted auralic and expecting them come back to me. So do you guys have any idea what might cause the problem? Some background information - have premium tidal account - am not a newbie to computer stuff - have 50 mbit fiber connection at home - my modem is huawei hg253s and when I checked its admin console I confirmed the upnp feature is switched on already. - tried the troubleshooting steps presented in auralic website to resolve the issue and it did not work out. - connected to the modem via wifi connection I also did setup hdd for stored flac files and do NOT have any issues whatsoever. Will post here if I here anything from auralic guys. Cheers,
  5. Just received a message from ciamara claiming the device would not be with them within this week.
  6. I am in the process of email exchange with someone from ciamara in New York. I was told today it was not arrived yet. Oddly when it would it cannot be grabbed from the store itself but only shipping was possible. Waiting for the availability in the next few days.
  7. Thank you very much indeed (both!). I will go and grab one today Thanks!
  8. Does that mean, that it is NOT essential to use a linear PSU initially and go ahead with a electric outlet converter? (USA-> Europe) If that is the case, then I will buy it today without hesitation. I do not want to destroy the device with my lack of information on power and electricity. On the other hand, I had bought B&W MM-1 and ATV in the past and managed to get them working without issues only using electric outlet converter. Thanks
  9. Hi, Got a quick question. I live in Europe. This week I'm in USA and consider buying an auralic aries mini. Would I need an additional power supply to make it work in Europe? (110v vs 220v) Or it would be enough to just buy a small converter before putting into power outlet? Cheers
