Some really strange negative comments above. Are these paid shills, or just people whose cultural norms are unlike my own? From all evidence, the usbridge is an outstanding product and allo an outstanding company with superb customer service. Both appear to be many leagues ahead of anything I'd expect given the price point. I look forward to having my own experience next paycheck, as the cost is nearly impulse purchase level in an otherwise luxury market.

Is there a sound quality difference between dietpi and volumio from the usbridge when controlled by bubbleupnp? I've read all 40 pages and could have missed it. Also, do either have a better track record with airplay? Those are the two ways my system is interfaced with at the moment. Roon may or may not make a comeback in my house.

would love it if Volumio would emulate a chromecast audio.

I canceled my Tidal subscription last week after a month of poor / broken / constantly dropping streaming... but first I submitted a ticket. This morning I received this: "Hello Marshall,Thank you for contacting TIDAL customer support. Please try to play something on the frontpage of TIDAL, Rihanna for example. About 50% of our content is moved to new servers. If you play some from the old servers you might experience some issues. If Rihanna plays ok, that shows that all content should work well soon, after everything is moved. Best Regards, Erik TIDAL Support" I'm not sure if my problems will be solved, but I'm certainly holding out until others report good streaming once again.
